Wilderness Foundation supports young people aged 13 – 15 who are struggling in mainstream education through its Out There Academy, a six week programme delivered at our 400 acre site in Chatham Green. Volunteers will support instructors/counsellors to facilitate outdoor activities.
Good listening skills, patience, an affinity with the outdoors, enjoy the company of young people. Training will be given.

When can I volunteer?
Start Date: 01/04/2019
End Date: 31/12/2020
Sessions are arranged with the referrer and the young person. Typically meetings take place at the young person's school for about an hour.
