Get hands on with wildlife!
This is your opportunity to be part of our volunteer conservation team. This project aims to turn a former landfill into a Country Park for the benefit of local people and wildlife. By helping here you have a rare opportunity to gain knowledge about ecological remediation and restoration.
Your main tasks will be helping the wardens with habitat management and creation. This involves very varied but conservation work such as tree planting, mulching, managing invasive vegetation, litter picking, fencing or day to day management of a country park.
If you would like to get fit, learn new skills, meet friendly local people and help to improve the environment, this is your organisation. Get in touch!
Everyone is welcome whatever skills or background you have.
A willingness to learn and good communication skills are welcome.
Induction and full training will be given.
The role requires volunteers to be working outside, so will need a moderate level of fitness.
