To assist with Wellbeing Groups in Broomfield (first Tuesday of the month month) for 2 to 2.5 hours per group
The role involves meeting, greeting and welcoming Carers at the beginning of the sessions.
Helping the Support worker to make teas and coffees
Assisting with the smooth running of the meeting - befriending any new carers in the group so they feel they can take part.
Helping to make all carers feel comfortable, relaxed and part of the group
Helping out at
occasional events where the organisation have a stand.
Good listening and communication skills.
Approachable manner, ability to put others at their ease.
Ability to work as a member of a team.
Flexibility of approach to all tasks.
An awareness of the needs of Carers.
A willingness to undertake training.
