Braintree District Council has nature conservation volunteer opportunities available across the Braintree District. Volunteers complete a range of practical conservation tasks in woodlands, local nature reserves and public open spaces. Activities vary but can include coppicing, tree planting, river clearance, litter picking, invasive species removal and the chance to get involved with survey work.
Skills
All ages welcome. Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult. Tools and equipment are provided but volunteers must wear suitable clothing and footwear for outdoor working in all weather conditions.
