We are looking for fun and enthusiastic people to join our team of youth workers at Garon Park Youth club on a Wednesday evening.
We are a fast growing club, and in order to meet the needs of our members and to continue to grow at the same pace, we need some additional volunteers to give up a couple hours, and to really make a big difference.
The role will involve interacting and engaging with our members aged 8-15 years, and making sure they have fun in a safe and secure environment.
This would suit someone looking to take the first steps into youth work, or just wishing to become part of a strong team, with a real interest and commitment to improving the lives of Southend’s young people. It’s a very rewarding role, and no previous experience is necessary as full training will be given.
Skills
No qualifications are necessary, just a genuine interest and commitment in improving the lives of young people.
