We are looking for a friendly and qualified Yoga Instructor to volunteer their time and skills to support the wellbeing of our clients and residents through gentle yoga and relaxation sessions. This is a rewarding opportunity to share the benefits of yoga in a supportive, inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead yoga sessions suitable for a range of abilities, with a focus on relaxation, gentle movement, and wellbeing
Adapt classes where needed to accommodate participants with varying levels of mobility and experience
Create a safe, calm, and welcoming space for attendees
Support individuals to build confidence and enjoy the benefits of mindful movement
Arrive in good time to set up and clear away after each session
Maintain professional boundaries and uphold the values of HARP
Requirements:
A recognised yoga teaching qualification
Your own Public Liability Insurance
Experience working with vulnerable adults (desirable but not essential)
A kind, patient, and adaptable approach
Good communication skills and a commitment to inclusivity
Willingness to complete a DBS check and attend any relevant training
