Volunteer to help with Art Cafe

We need help taking the money and making teas and coffees for our Art Cafe for adults with a learning disability. This role may also include some one to one assistance with the different art and craft activities available at the Group.

What do you see as the benefits of involvement for volunteers? A massive benefit is having fun and a laugh, as well as a huge sense of achievement in helping someone with a learning disability to produce something.

A smiley face, and a sunny disposition as well as a sense of humour would be much more advantageous than any skills in art or crafts. Our pottery/ art teacher is so calm and kind and will definitely assist you with the activities. If you are able to make a nice cup of tea and coffee this will endear you to our members and staff alike.
