Caring for a child with complex health needs can have a profound effect on the whole family. Often life can be chaotic and unpredictable and this can make daily tasks hard to complete.
Would you like to help families to maintain their gardens, when they just don’t have the time? Would you like to give them a garden to be proud of? One where they can spend their days as a family, making memories and having fun? With the Summer approaching, getting out of the house and into the garden can have an amazing effect not only on the child who is ill, but also on the rest of the family too.
This Volunteering opportunity would require you helping a number of different families on an ad hoc basis. We work with over 100 families in the entire Essex area and there is a real demand for this kind of support!!
