This role is to support our Events and Projects Team in their work with young people.
Volunteering opportunities range from climbing a mountain with a team of young people and mountain leaders in the Lake District, to helping a youth group to build a raft in Upminster, to manning a tree-climbing challenge for teams on a night exercise in Great Yeldham. to joining a small trekking expedition to Nepal. You could be invited to judge a fishing competition in Romford or a table tennis final in Great Sampfords. You might be asked to check in teams for a 5-a-side football tournament in Brentwood or lead a fundraising jailbreak in Chelmsford. You might want to help with the catering at our adventure weekend in June or you could be the minibus driver for one of our early intervention projects. You might get involved for a few hours or a day or a week or a month-long project.
Our year-long calendar of activities for youth clubs is full of exciting events and activities, at which we always need cheerful volunteers to lend a hand. No matter how active or relaxed you are, we've got an activity which will be perfect for you to help young people achieve their potential, giving the volunteers who run their youth clubs a helping hand.
A cheerful disposition and patient temperament is all you need - we can find the right activity for you.
