Saturday Drivers - URGENT NEED from Maldon or Chelmsford

The Stroke Club – Mid Essex require volunteer drivers for their back-lift, transit-sized minibus (a 6/7 seater).

This role involves picking up the minibus from Heybridge on a Saturday morning and collecting and returning stroke disabled members between their homes and the Stroke Centre in Chelmsford.

Pick up begins at 9 am on Saturday morning and involves collecting passengers around the area (Witham, Hatfield Peverel, Chelmsford).  Drop off should be completed by 10:30 am.

The round is completed in reverse from 1:30 pm to approximately 3 pm.

Drivers are welcome to free refreshments and lunch if desired and may remain at the venue in the interim or leave and return in good time for drop-off.

You will be one of a rota of drivers.  The Stroke Club does not operate on Bank Holiday weekends.

Drivers will need to be between 25 and 75 years old.

A DBS check is required.  The check is free of charge and will be carried out by the organisation.
