A Volunteer Data Analyst Officer is needed to support the Office Manager and trustees by turning data into clear, useful information that helps us understand how the service is working and where we can improve.
You’ll produce regular reports and carry out data analysis to help with decision-making, trustee updates, funding applications and service development, making sure the information we use is accurate, consistent and easy to understand.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce monthly phone statistics reports.
- Prepare quarterly KPI reports for presentation to trustee meetings.
- Carry out ad hoc data analysis to support operational understanding and decision-making.
- Develop clear, accurate and meaningful reports that can be used in funding applications and service development.
- Interpret data from multiple sources and present findings in an accessible format.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency and quality across all reports.
- Support the Office Manager with any additional data or reporting requirements as needed.
Skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Interest in data, statistics and analysis.
- Ability to interpret and present data clearly.
- Competent in using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace (particularly spreadsheets).
- Ability to organise and manage data effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate findings clearly in written format.
Induction and support will be provided on internal data sources and reporting requirements. Guidance will be given on reporting formats and templates.

Availability Details
This is a flexible volunteer role with tasks completed on a monthly, quarterly and ad hoc basis. The time commitment will vary depending on reporting schedules but will be agreed in advance with the Office Manager.
