Youth Support Worker

We are looking for someone to work directly with the Youth Development Worker giving support to deliver specific group work sessions for young people aged 10 -19 years in school and community settings.  

Skills

Any experience of working with young people would be an advantage, though the most important quality is an enthusiasm and willingness to engage with young people (some of whom may be on the fringes of our communities and disengaged from other agencies).  

Also needed are:

  • Good verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Able to cope with listening to difficult life situations and respond appropriately
