Visitor Centre Volunteers - Walton on the Naze

We are looking for enthusiastic people to help run our visitor centres across the county. Our centres are open six or seven days a week and volunteers are key to presenting a professional and welcoming front. Being part of one of our visitor centre teams is rewarding and sociable and it is a role that needs a regular time commitment.

We have a range of opportunities at our new centre at The Naze including:

Meeting and greeting;

Serving refreshments;

Working with the education staff and

Practical work parties.

Skills

You will need to be prepared to muck in and help with all aspects of running the centre; selling mechandise in our shops; welcoming visitors; recruiting new members; encouraging donations; involving people in joining our events as well as maintenance and cleaning of the building. We also need assistance behind the scenes with administrative tasks and finance.
