Unit Trustee

  • As a Unit Trustee you will be operating under the guidance of the Unit Chairman, sharing roles and responsibilities of managing the unit, the premises and fundraising:
  • ensure all the unit's activities are conducted legally and comply with charity regulations as well as the charity's own policies and procedures
  • ensure the general welfare, safety and protection of volunteers and cadets when involved in unit matter or activities
  • ensure a properly maintained, serviced, safe and secure unit premises
  • identify unit priorities and potential issues
  • raise funds
  • ensure the unit has a commanding officer and sufficient volunteers to meet the needs of the cadets
  • ensure safeguarding of cadets
