Uttlesford Food Bank are looking for two Trustees to engage in the needs of the Foodbank & support the management.
The Food Bank has grown a lot since becoming an independent charity in 2017 and as such the demands on their resources have grown. They have a member of staff provided by a grant which will need reviewing within the next 6 months.
They will also be seeking a grant for new premises within the next 3 years. They have been fortunate enough to have been donated surplus funds during COVID and are looking for Trustees who can best advise them on the use of those funds.
They would welcome applications from those with experience of running a charity, managing volunteers or wishing to learn about the requirements of charity governance.
They especially welcome applicants from those with lived experience of the issues our service users experience themselves.
What are we looking for?
Experience of managing volunteers or working in the charitable sector in a senior role.
Someone with knowledge and experience of bid writing or who is able to manage volunteers writing bids.
Good local contacts in Uttlesford especially in either Great Dunmow or Stansted would be a distinct advantage.
