The Together Club - A social club for young people with Special Education Needs

At InterAct we are working with young adults who struggle to do the things that other young adults take for granted, such as socialise. We’ve set up the Together club, a place where people with Special Educational Needs, living in the District of Chelmsford, aged 18—25 years, can relax, make friends, learn new skills and have fun. There’s an emphasis on promoting independence, healthy living and environmental awareness.

We are looking for people who can volunteer alongside the young adults to take part in high quality, fun, and exciting experiences to support each young adult to achieve their goals.

  • Patient and caring nature; non-judgemental attitude
