Telephone help-line volunteer

We are looking for people who want to give back to their local community and join our team of staff and volunteers. We are looking for people to provide an effective and efficient triage service to members of the public; helping to progress their issues to the most appropriate next stage. This might be self-help information, signposting to other Organisations, a referral to a specialist; or giving advice to help resolve their issues. This role offers flexibility to those who cannot get to an office, as it can be undertaken at home with remote supervision.

A commitment of at least 5-6 hours per week is required

Skills

Full training for this role will be provided.

Availability Details

Can be based at one of our offices, but there is opportunity to work from home. Minimum commitment is 5-6 hours per week.
