Day Centre Activities Supporter

We are looking for support with educational activities for people who have experienced a brain injury at the Headway Centre in Colchester. As a volunteer for the Headway Centre your role is varied, purposeful and at times demanding, but always rewarding.

Volunteers are an important, valued and integral part of a team that has one goal: to encourage and support individuals to reach their full potential, irrespective of the difficulties presented to them by their brain injury.

We wish to assure you of our appreciation, and will do our best to make your experience as a volunteer with us enjoyable and rewarding.

Induction and Training

All volunteers will receive an induction into Headway Essex and their area of work and training will be provided as appropriate.


Tuesday / Wednesday / Thursday / Friday, starting from 10am for 3 hours (half day) 5 hours (full day)

Numbers required 8


We are looking for enthusiastic people who are patient and who can give plenty of encouragement to our clients.

The Headway Centre is located on the grounds of Severalls Hospital on Boxted road in Mile End Colchester. As you turn into Severalls Hospital follow signs for Headway.
