The Stock Volunteer (with driving) requires some heavy lifting, manual handling, and transporting food. You will be responsible for collecting stock from suppliers, community groups, and donation points, ensuring that they are transported in accordance with the food safety policy and health & safety policy.
This role doesn't usually take place during the pantry opening hours and may require flexibility in hours. Exact timings will vary depending on the supplier, as we have some regular weekly collections while others are ad hoc.

- Manual handling.
- Collection of goods, observing appropriate food safety and manual handling regulations.
- To assist with correctly and safely storing goods.
- To ensure that goods are in date and in good condition.
- To complete all food safety and procedural paperwork.
