Social Media Ambassador to The Maeldune Trust

The Maeldune Trust seeks to promote the heritage and history of Maldon and are guardians of The Maldon Embroidery. We host exhibitions and Craft Shop goods and are home to Maldon\'s visitor information centre.

We want to promote an increase in footfall in the centre to help drive up sales but also to make people more aware of what happens inside the Maeldune Heritage Centre.

Every week people come in and say \"Where\'s the Service\", thinking it is still a church! It hasn\'t been a church for over 30 years!

Come and help us raise public awareness for both residents of Maldon and visitors alike.

Skills

We use Instagram and Facebook and have an improving website.

But help us take this further. Help bring more young people into the centre.  Support us move into other platforms including TikTok, Threads etc.

Create engaging videos, posts, reels to help increase the number of friends, likes follows or retweets on the various platforms to improve our visibility and reach.

This opportunity would suit a student or someone looking to feature a project in their IT social media portfolio.

A commitment of an hour a week for a period of 6 months would be superb.
