Shaw Trust is a national charity working to create brighter futures for the people and communities we serve.
Could you run a fun, engaging group activity for our clients? We're looking for volunteers to lead group activities to improve confidence, self-esteem,social inclusion, health and well-being. Volunteers will plan and deliver engaging sessions and on-going groups that bring people together to try something new, socialise and build a support network e.g. arts and crafts groups, book clubs, walking groups,yoga, singing groups. Groups may be in a single site or across multiple sites dependent on volunteers and venue availability.
- A desire to help people work towards achievable goals
. Ability to work with groups of vulnerable adults
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A professional manner and the ability to work independently.
- Suitable for under 18s
- DBS check required
- Training provided
Training is online, with additional optional training available.
