This is an amazing opportunity for a local artist to get involved in the Knitting our Heritage Together project in the Rayleigh Rochford District, which will be part of the Discover 2020 events.
This role involves sketching local historical scenes of interest, which will then be used to produce 2ft x 3ft textile panels, which will ultimately tour the district.
Please do contact us if you feel you are able to contribute to this amazing community project in any way!
Artists and Historians urgently required... as the textile panels cannot start until the artistic designs are completed.
A definite flair for creativity and the ability to sketch are a must for this volunteer opportunity.
The role involves both working independently and as part of a team and the artist must be reliable and able to commit to the projects timelines.
