Calling to all sports fans!
This role is intended for a keen sports fan, with a passion for helping people in their local community. Primarily, the role is to ensure a safe journey - providing support where needed - for our clients with visual impairments and sight-loss, who are attending sporting events.
The role of the volunteer is to assist the client to get to the sporting event, as well as provide support where needed at the event, and get back to their home address safely. All costs will be covered and/or reimbursed by the company.
Skills
Basic DBS certificate.
Full UK driving license is desirable.
Good communicational skills.
All other training provided.

Availability Details
The above would depend on the requirements of the client. They may want to go to a one-off athletics event where the volunteer would be required around the time of that, or the client may want to frequently attend their team’s sport matches each week. We would assume that these events will mainly occur during the weekend, but not entirely restricted to weekends only.
