What will you be asked to do; working the till, sorting donations, helping customers, sorting out the rails, toys, books, bric a brac, sometimes making then tea- the list is endless but never boring.
What would I get out of it you may ask. Apart from the satisfaction of knowing you are helping your community, having a laugh with the other volunteers, meeting new people, there is always that wonderful sense of achievement.
Several of our volunteers have gone on to find jobs and it always looks good on a CV.
Why do we need you; since the pandemic volunteer numbers have fallen considerably but we can't run the shop without them. Every volunteer brings a different aspect to the role whether it's new ideas, life skills and experience
