Role Purpose
To support the safe, smooth, and successful delivery of Community RunFest by assisting with event operations and ensuring all participants have a positive and enjoyable experience.
Key Responsibilities
Volunteers may be asked to support in one or more of the following areas:
- Welcoming visitors and helping direct them to different areas of the park
- Answering questions and offering clear, helpful guidance
- Keeping pathways open, safe, and easy to move through
- Helping keep the park clean and tidy by picking up litter
- Supporting visitors throughout the day to make it enjoyable for all
- Helping maintain a well-organised and safe environment
· Reporting any concerns, incidents, or hazards to the event team
Support Provided
- Full briefing and guidance on the day
- Clear role allocation and point of contact
- Refreshments (£10 voucher to be spent at designated food vendor)
- A rewarding opportunity to support the local community and be part of a positive event

Requirements
- Attend a short pre-event briefing
- Be available for the agreed time slot on event day

Availability Details
As the event is for 1 day we would require volunteers to be available from 6AM to 2PM on Sunday 12th July.
