A People Support Officer volunteer is needed to support the Office Manager with recruitment and people administration activities for both staff and volunteers. The role will provide administrative support throughout the employee and volunteer lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring records, databases and spreadsheets are maintained accurately and in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to candidate and volunteer enquiries.
- Support recruitment activities for staff and volunteers.
- Arrange interviews and communicate with applicants.
- Prepare and issue onboarding documentation.
- Complete onboarding administration and maintain personnel records.
- Support offboarding processes for staff and volunteers, including updating records and issuing relevant documentation.
- Maintain accurate recruitment, onboarding and offboarding spreadsheets and databases.
- Ensure information is recorded and handled in line with organisational procedures and confidentiality requirements.
- Provide general administrative support to the Office Manager as required.
Skills
- Good organisational and administrative skills.

- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Competent IT skills, including familiarity with Google Workspace (Google Drive, Docs, Sheets) or Microsoft Office.

Availability Details
This is a flexible volunteer role with work undertaken on an ad hoc basis depending on recruitment activity. Volunteers are asked to be available on at least one day per week, although the role is not expected to require more than 2 hours per week.
