Orienteering is an adventure sport that involves navigating using a map. Participants move at their own speed and can compete at any age. It's a great workout for body and mind and an ideal sport for all ages and great for families.
We run orienteering events and introductory sessions throughout North and Mid Essex.
Our events include activities for children in local parks, Schools Days, Urban events, low key beginner events for adults and children and our larger events in local woodlands and countryside. As a thank you to our event volunteers we offer a free entry at the event.
There are a wide variety of things to do to with something to suit everyone! This includes 'Meet & Greet', marshalling, computer results download, competitor registration, car parking etc.

Volunteers do not need to have any prior experience in orienteering as our friendly club members will be there to help and support you. We will provide you with the training to carry out your chosen role.
