We are looking for volunteers who are practical and love the outdoors, for our Growing Together garden project in Shoebury. Volunteers will need to be good listeners, understanding, non-judgemental, positive thinkers, reliable, motivated, able to lead small groups and willing to share skills. Can you say Yes! to these qualities?
If you would able to commit to attending regularly to support members with mental health issues and/or learning difficulties who attend the Growing Together Community Gardens, then why not apply to join our garden teams at one of our sites. We need volunteers to support our members and share their enthusiasm, skills and knowledge.
Most importantly you will have good listening skills and ability to work with and give support and encouragement to a wide range of people, helping them build confidence and enhance or learn new skills .
