The Thames Sailing Barge Trust is looking to actively promote itself to the wider public and to make them aware of the sailing programme they operate and the events that they hold.
The Trust is also in the middle of an Heritage Lottery Application which will enable them to update the facilities on the Dunkirk Little Ship, s.b. Pudge. Once this work is completed they will need to raise her profile in the sailing community.
The volunteer/applicant should be able to work in a proactive way with the marketing team to raise and promote the activities of the Trust.

Knowledge, skills and abilities:
- Marketing Strategy development
- IT literate (Internet, Word, Publisher, PowerPoint)
Volunteer applicant should also:
- be a good team player
- have good networking skills
- be able to work to deadlines
No need to have knowledge of the sailing barge market as this will be provided.

Volunteer can work from home but will need to attend monthly committee meetings and other meetings as agreed at a Maldon location. The role will allow the candidate to work on their own initiative, but should not entail more than 2 to 3 hours a week. Ho
