The Loughton Festival brings people together from all over the Epping Forest area to celebrate our local history via music, arts, talks about writers, and performances.
To be held in June 2019, the Loughton Festival is an enjoyable month long series of events including walks, talks, concerts and art events for people of all ages and abilities. Most of the events raise money for local charities and all of the events are organised by volunteers. The full programme can be found at www.loughtonfestival.org.uk.
Volunteers needed for various roles but in particular stewarding, helping to serve teas, sell tickets in May. Volunteers will generally do a two hour slot. If you are interested in joining the planning group there are a number of working groups that needs support. We will also require leaflet distributors in the Loughton area from mid-April.
A preliminary list of events that will require volunteers and there may be other opportunities once everything has been sorted out. We will also require leaflet distributors, mostly to shops, churches, libraries and village halls. If you would like to help in any way, please let me know, as always on a first come basis.
