What is the role about?

You will support Jobseekers who need help in using IT to access and use online jobseeking resources

What will it it involve?

Assisting customers to navigate the jobseeker sites on library computers.

Helping customers set up email accounts and log into job-search and CV builder websites

Providing software and basic technical support to jobseekers, mainly for Word, Outlook and Internet Explorer

Signposting job-seekers to other sources of help or advice This help may be through one-to-one appointments, or in drop-in sessions offering quick help, or a mixture of the twoThe role involves assisting jobseekers to navigate the job-seeker sites on Library computers.

Availability Details

Chelmsford Library requires volunteers committing to two hours per week. Days and times can be discussed between yourself and the Library. South Woodham Ferrers are looking for a volunteer for the Work Club role on Wednesdays from 10am - 12noon.
