This role provides support to the volunteers in the Pantry, such as responding to requests and suggestions, hosting team meetings, coordinating attendance and providing practical support where it is needed.
Summary of Main Activities and Tasks:
- Coordinating volunteer rotas
- Ensuring food and shop safety principles within the site
- Participating in team meetings, helping to resolve any operational issues
- Coordinating volunteer feedback
Skills
This role is suited to an enthusiastic, well-organised individual with strong leadership skills. The ability to problem solve is essential, as is a commitment to getting involved on a practical level - e.g. helping out if there are other volunteer shortages.
Previous experience of coordinating volunteers is desirable but not essential.
