IT Volunteer for Befriending Project

Community360 are currently looking at recruiting IT volunteers/befrienders to provide help and support using technology for all ages at the Lion Walk Activity Centre on Tuesdays 11am-12.30pm and at One Colchester Shop on Fridays 11.00-13.00pm. This is a great opportunity to learn new skills, give back to your community and add to your CV.

Other venues are regularly being added.

Skills

No formal qualifications or experience are necessarily required.

Information technology skills, particularly using the internet.

Some experience of using/creating email, skype, social media and general use of internet.

The ability to explain and help people using basic terms.
