Honorary Secretary to the Board

The volunteer will be required to provide a secretarial service to the Board of this vibrant charity. The target group for raising awareness is ostensibly 18-35 year olds, thus the charity has a young and dynamic support network, including a Board on which 50% of the Trustees are under 35.

The role necessitates a full range of secretarial services including arranging and attending Board meetings, taking and preparing minutes, coordinating the agenda in conjunction with the CEO and Chair and progress chasing papers for the Board. In addition the Honorary Secretary is expected to attend and minute the Annual General Meeting and the annual Board awayday.

There will be the opportunity to support awareness and fundraising volunteers at events such as University Freshers' Fairs, music festivals and in-store fundraising days.
