Home Visitor

This is a rewarding opportunity to become a vital lifeline for visually impaired people. Our volunteers make visits to people in their homes to assess needs, demonstrate specialist equipment and provide information to help them lead a more self-sufficient and independent life.  This service results in individuals feeling less isolated with improved wellbeing and confidence.

Full training is provided for volunteers by Support 4 Sight to enable you to conduct the home visit. Fire and home safety training is offered by Essex Police and Essex Fire Service.

Volunteers work in pairs to carry out visits.

Both drivers and non-drivers are needed.
