Helpers for Seniors Lunch Club

The Seniors Luncheon Club at St Mary's Church has been running for over 40 years, and welcomes local older people in for a hot meal, and a warm conversation. For some of the ladies and gentlemen that attend, this lunch club is the only chance they have to sit and chat to other people. For others it might be their only home-cooked meal.

We need to add some more friendly, reliable volunteers to our lovely team.

You would be helping us to prepare and cook the meals, tidy the kitchen, serve food, and greet and chat to our elderly visitors.

We are a lively bunch who like to have a laugh as we work

The Club meets on Tuesdays at St. Mary’s in Great Baddow and serves a freshly-prepared two course  lunch (main course and dessert)  to up to 30 people. The Club closes during August.

We kindly ask for at least one shift per month.

Kitchen help and cook: 9.30am- 2pm

Food server: 11.30am to1.30pm

Skills

Friendly, reliable, and able to work in a team.

Experience and knowledge of food and meal prep would be helpful.
