Group Leader

A volunteer is needed to help with the Pioneer's Thursday morning group. Maldon Pioneers is a group of adults with mild to moderate learning disability.

This involves picking up two clients on the Dengie on alternate Thursday mornings. The other Thursday morning you will go directly to the URC Church Hall at the top of Market Hil for 10 o'clock.

Volunteers will require their own transport and will need to inform their car insurance company. However, please note, that in the vast majority of cases this does not incur any extra cost.

During the morning you will encourage various activities such as puzzles, playing cards, board games, painting etc.

Clients bring their own packed lunch and make their own hot drinks.

At 1 pm clients leave for their afternoon outing.

This role does not involve any personal care.
