Green Space Games Sessional Support - Youth Volunteer

Maldon & District CVS are launching their new Green Space Games project this Easter!

A series of FREE, two- hour multi-activity sessions run for families across the Maldon District utilising local green spaces, The sessions will involve sports and physical activities, Arts and crafts and a free play area.   

These sessions will be running during Easter and Summer school holidays and open to families with children aged 3-11 years old.

We would like for children and young people 12+ to come and support these sessions as volunteers, This is a great opportunity to gain some volunteering experience and have fun in the school holidays! 

The role may involve 

-  Working alongside our sessional staff members to gain valuable experience and skills. 

- Planning some short activities that could be delivered within the sessions. 

- Supporting young children with arts and crafts activities as needed.  

- Encourage young children and families to take part in activities being delivered. 

- Handing out feedback forms to families attending the sessions. 

Sessions will be taking place across four locations during Easter and Summer as follows - 

Maldon Prom Park. 

Heybridge Plantation Hall, Playing Fields.

Burnham-on-Crouch, Riverside Park.

Tollesbury, Recreation ground

Willingness to learn 

Enjoy being outdoors 

An interest in different fun activities (Sports, Crafts etc.). 

Happy to speaking with children as young as 3 and their parents.
