To help give girls opportunities for fun, friendship, challenge and adventure! Unit Helpers usually work with other volunteers to assist in delivering a high-quality programme to the girls and young women of the unit, while ensuring safety of the unit members. Unit Helpers assist the Unit Leadership Team in running units (groups) of Rainbows, Brownies, Guides and the Senior Section. Your will be part of a team that includes at least one Unit Leader, Assistant Leaders and possibly also Young Leaders and other Unit Helpers.
Unit Helpers will have opportunities for 'on-the-job' learning and development.
Unit Helpers are key in supporting girls and young women to experience how great Girlguiding can be. While we offer you support in your role we would expect you to possess the personal qualities outlined below:

We are offering 2 types or roles; regularly (weekly or fortnightly) or occasionally (less than 3 times a month. Roles are available within several of our units who all have different meeting times, usually during weekdays in the early evening.
