This is a wonderful opportunity to get outside, help people and have the companionship of other gardeners.
With the support of the Garden Coordinator you will be helping vulnerable, elderly and disabled people living in Uttlesford.
You will visit local gardens to carry out simple tasks such as cutting the grass, pruning or weeding. Also, you will help to restore gardens which may have got a little out of hand, right through to major clearances of gardens. Imagine how happy the owner will feel looking out on your handy work.
You don't have to be an experienced gardener just interested. We will support and train you and provide protective equipment when necessary.
