Gardener/Nature Volunteer

We are a friendly run community space who are looking for more volunteers to support us in achieving a space that is welcoming for all the community.

Over the years we have transformed Elm Road open space into a space where people want to come and enjoy the outside and the environment.  We have lots of ideas for the future of the space including the building of a bog space to attract further wildlife.

We would like volunteers to help us in maintaining the open space.  Whether it is weeding, planting trees, cutting grass or redesigning a part of the space. We welcome volunteers from all walks of life and all abilities, as we can always find you a task.  We are also happy to train you in gardening skills if required.

Volunteering is flexible and we will work around  you.  This is a good volunteering opportunity to socialise and make new connections. We welcome volunteers from 16 plus but also from those younger if it is a part of their Duke of Edinburgh scheme or school placement.
