Could you help prepare Maldon for the annual Maldon in Bloom and Anglia in Bloom judging?
Volunteers are needed to help tidy, weed, dig and plant along a designated route that will be inspected by the team of judges.
It is not only the venues that are judged but also the condition of roads, paths etc. Kerbs and pavements attract large numbers of weeds as do alleyways and close attention is also paid to litter.
Activity dates are communicated on an ongoing basis and will be decided approximately three weeks in advance. Take part once or regularly - it's up to you!
The Maldon in Bloom team operates throughout the year.
No gardening skills are necessary.
If you enjoy being outdoor and part of a team this is a chance to improve your local community.
If you have sturdy gardening gloves and a small trowel/hand fork bring them along. Otherwise equipment can be supplied.
