Garden & DIY volunteer

A team of volunteers have turned the garden from an overgrown unloved space to somewhere that anyone in the community can enjoy. On café days there are visitors enjoying refreshments in the sunshine and children playing, On Friday mornings we have regular fitness groups using the garden space to exercise. 

The garden volunteers usually meet one afternoon per week to plant, weed, water and refresh the garden, sometimes growing seeds at home and planting them out. We have some raised beds and planters which can be maintained by seated volunteer gardeners.

DIY:  At times we need shelves and pictures put up, shed roof repaired, key safes installed and the like. Volunteers with these skills would help as and when required.
