Games Group Leader

The group is open to all comers on a drop-in basis. Most regular attendees are older people who enjoy getting out of the house and having some fun. Scrabble and cribbage feature heavily, there are a number of other board and card games available, as are refreshments.

The volunteer role is to be the main host, encouraging people to join in and making them feel welcome. A small team of volunteers may need to be deployed to ensure everyone is enjoying themselves. New games may need to be bought for the group. There is minimum admin - keeping simple attendance records and short reports for quarterly committee meetings.
