- Identify fundraising opportunities, organising and attending events and meetings to raise our Victim Support profile
- Engaging with our local communities to inform them about crime and our work.
- Gaining experience in planning and organising events and delivering presentations
- Working in partnerships with local Community Voluntary Services (CVS), universities and other local partnership organisations
- Representing Victim Support at CVS Events, university events, pride events and local fetes
Skills
- Gain skills and experience - you will learn the skills to effectively present and engage
- Join our community - you will be part of a large community over 1,500 volunteers and staff
- Beyond your role - attend one or our many events/webinars and join one of our six Equality, Diversity and Inclusion networks
- be over 18 years of age or over
- Be able to volunteer for at least 2-4 hours per week, for at least 6 months
- Complete a 3 day workbook
- Undertake a DBS check where required
- Be able to provide two satisfactory references
- Have an active email address that you are comfortable using in order to engage with VS communicationsGain
