As a Fundraising Volunteer, you will play a vital role in supporting Home-Start Essex by helping to raise essential funds and awareness through a variety of events and promotional activities. Whether you're assisting with the planning and delivery of events, promoting upcoming events, or organising your own fundraising initiatives, your contribution will directly support local families in need.
This role is ideal for enthusiastic individuals who enjoy working as part of a team, engaging with the public, and making a tangible difference. Depending on your interests and availability, you could
• Become a member of our Fundraising Team
• Assist the Events team with organising and planning upcoming events
• Assist on site at events. This could include helping with the setup of events, helping on a stand with fundraising i.e. selling raffle tickets or standing at the entrances of events with buckets for donations
• Assist with the promotion of upcoming events
• Organise your own fundraising event for Home-Start Essex
• Research events with the possibility of becoming a charity beneficiary
Skills
You will be provided with basic training by completing elements of our Volunteer Preparation Course relevant to your role. There will also be opportunities to access ongoing training. Support will be provided by our Fundraising & Marketing Team.
