About Lady McAdden Breast Cancer Trust
Lady McAdden Breast Cancer Trust is a local charity dedicated to promoting breast health awareness and providing free one-to-one education and support for women across Essex and beyond. We are passionate about empowering people with the knowledge and confidence to detect breast changes early and seek help quickly.
Our small, friendly team relies on the kindness and commitment of volunteers to help keep our vital services running.
About the Role
We are seeking a Volunteer Fundraising Administrator to support our Fundraising Director with the day-to-day running of our fundraising activities.
This varied and rewarding role is ideal for someone who enjoys being organised, communicating with people, and making a difference behind the scenes. You’ll help ensure that events, campaigns, and donor relationships run smoothly, and play a key part in helping us raise the funds needed to continue our life-saving work.
The role is flexible, you can choose your days and hours, and work either from our Southend office, from home, or a mix of both.

• Provide administrative support to the Fundraising Director and wider team.
• Help manage donor and supporter databases, keeping records accurate and up to date.
• Support the planning and coordination of fundraising events and campaigns.
• Prepare fundraising materials, thank-you letters, and acknowledgements.
• Assist with communications to supporters, partners, and volunteers.
• Research potential fundraising opportunities and assist with sponsorship outreach.
• Handle general fundraising correspondence and enquiries.
Skills
• Good organisational and administrative skills.
• Confident in using email, spreadsheets, and general office software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Friendly, proactive, and able to work independently.
• A genuine interest in supporting Lady McAdden’s mission.
Desirable:
• Previous experience in fundraising, charity work, or administration.
• Familiarity with CRM or donor databases (training can be provided).
• Enjoys working as part of a small, supportive team.
