Forest school Volunteer Langdon Hills Country Park

Thurrock INSPIRE are currently delivering a Forest School programme to students from local schools. Based at One Tree Hill in Langdon Hills Country Park the programme in a mixture of practical skills and activities delivered in a natural environment. Groups range from 8-12 students aged between 6 and13.

Activities are led by qualified staff supported by Teachers LSAs and volunteers.

Volunteers do not need any specialist knowledge but need to be enthusiastic "outdoors" types with an interest in working with young people.

Potential Minibus drivers with a D1 licence would be welcomed.

This is very much a "Hands On" role which requires working with young people away from the school environment.


No special qualifications are required although an interest in practical activities' working with a range of tools and camp fire cookery are desirable.
