The Lambourne End Outdoor Centre works with young people in a creative way to promote self-esteem, independence and skills for life. It is set in 54 acres of open countryside and includes a working farm, fruit and vegetable gardens, conference and training room facilities, conservation and woodland areas and en-suite accommodation for groups. L.E. offers a range of personal development and informal education programmes using outdoor activities as well as farm and environmental activities. L.E. is open throughout the year with the aim of helping young people build a future.
In this role you will be helping out in our gardens, with all aspects of planting, growing and harvesting. You may also do some food preparation and cooking when we make jams and chutneys from what we have grown in the gardens. You would be supported in your role. You may be working alongside other young people although this is not essential if you prefer to work alone. There is a fee of Â£75 per day.
Just an interest in working outside and gardening.
