In this volunteer role you will:
- Provide support on pre-event days (Friday, Saturday, Sunday morning)
- Help setting up the event car park
- Help setting up event areas, pay desk, gazebos, barriers and other related activities
- Provide support on the event day (generally on a Sunday)
- Event pay desk; car park assistance; support Museum specific stalls (eg raffle prize stall); putting out road signage.
- Provide support after the event
- On a Sunday assist with clearing up and putting away equipment
- On a Tuesday after the event clear up and return all items to their appropriate storage area.

Skills
We are looking for someone who is:
- Enthusiastic about the Museum and its collections
- Friendly, approachable and welcoming to people of all ages and backgrounds
- Keen to volunteer as part of a team
- In good physical health (stewarding involves sustained standing and some lifting; manual handling training will be provided).
- Please note that some events take place inside and some take place outside in the Museum grounds.
